Overview #
On the tasks page, you are able to schedule and view open and completed tasks and follow-ups such as alterations, special orders, or the super important thing you need to call your client about next week.
Tasks Categories #
When you land on the tasks page you will see a total list of all your tasks.
There are three different sections of your total tasks list:
- Incomplete – These are all the tasks that have end dates in the future or are overdue
- Overdue – These are only tasks that are overdue with due dates in the past
- Complete – These are all your completed tasks
The categories that are logged here are as follows:
- Alterations – Items to be altered
- Task – This is the general catch all for any custom task or follow up you want to be create. It can be as general as “Call Mike next week”.
- MTM – This is for Men’s stores only and refers to Made To Measure custom orders
- Special Orders – Special orders from the vendor
**PRO TIP – When scheduling something that has multiple steps in the process like a special order, put the due date as your next check point so you are reminded to check on it. Then push the date out to the next check point to stay on top of it.
If you want to filter the list down to a specific category just hit the Select Task Type button.
Looking at Task Details #
If you click on a task, it will open you up to the task details. Here you will be able to see any notes you took on the task as well as any photos tied to it.
If you want to communicate with the client on the task you can text, email, or call the client right from this page.
You can also view the clients profile if you want to check on any purchases or activity by clicking the Go to Profile button at the bottom of the task detail.
In the next section we will go over how to add a task.
